Here are some photos to accompany last Sunday’s sermon about standing on the shoulders of giants – both are historic buildings that have been repurposed to different ends. The first is the Pantheon in Rome; the second is the oculus in the roof of the Pantheon; and the third is St Panteleimon Church in Thessaloniki, Greece.
