Merry Christmas All!
We celebrate Christmas with two services this weekend.
Saturday night, Christmas Eve, the United Church will feature a Festival of Lessons and Carols at 5:00 pm. The service will include familiar Christmas stories from the Bible, a host of familiar carols, special music from our church choir, poetry, prayer, and the traditional candlelight singing of Silent Night on the church steps followed by the joyous peals of our steeple bell. We hope you can join us for our annual celebration.
Christmas morning, Sunday at 10:00 am, we will offer a more modest, relaxed and familiar service. We will sing, hear the Christmas story, and share some of our own. Do you have a favorite Christmas memory? We invite you to share it Sunday morning – it is always fun to learn what makes Christmas special for each other, and we look forward to hearing yours. The service will be brief, and whether you are with us in person or virtually, it will be a pleasure to spend a bit of time together Christmas morning.
