Some random news and notes while I’m trying to figure out what to do with all this change I got back from that trillion-dollar coin…
Our church family will celebrate the life of our dear sister and friend Margaret Weisenburger Saturday morning March 11 at 11:00, and we hope you can be there to honor her. A reception will follow in our Fellowship Hall. Please continue to keep all the Weisenberger family in your hearts and your prayers in the days and weeks to come.
On a similar note, you may have read that Stephen Williams passed away earlier this week. Stephen was an active member of the United Church for a number of years, and he served as a Deacon, Trustee, and sang in our church choir. A service to celebrate Stephen will be held in early July; when we have more information, we will be certain to pass it along.
And don’t forget, this Sunday is our annual Unbirthday Party! It will follow immediately after worship in lieu of Coffee Hour, and we hope we will be able to celebrate you this week; as folks like to say, there will be cake! (It is also Scout Sunday, so don’t be surprised if you see a few uniforms in the congregation this week.)
