Come and bake with Margie to Christmas music and smiles.  If you are not able to bake you can drop off your dough and the team will bake them.  Recipe below:

Margie’s Nut Ball Recipe

(Russian Tea Cakes)

 To make 96 balls:

4 sticks of butter

1 cup of sugar

¼ tsp. salt

4 tsp. vanilla

4 cups of flour

4 cups of chopped walnuts

Confectioner’s sugar to roll balls in once cooled.

Preheat oven at 325 degrees.

Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Add flour. Blend well. Add nuts. Blend again.

Shape into 1-inch balls.

Bake 20 minutes. Do not brown.

Cool. Roll in sugar.

This recipe doubles easily. You may also cut it in half easily for about 50 cookies.
