New Year’s Eve

We spoke at length about the church’s “New Year’s Eve” back in November, the Sunday before Advent, the church’s New Year, so there’s probably not a lot more to say about it, except perhaps to pause as you take a look back and wonder how the year just past will help us live into the year to come.
We begin the new year with our annual Remembrance Tree Service, when we will name, remember and celebrate loved family and friends who are no longer with us.  Thanks to all of you who have hung names on the tree during Advent, may their memories be a blessing.

We have been following the most recent Covid surge, and are aware that cases are rising again.  At this time we have no plans to return to remote-only worship, but still encourage you to be safe, and attend church in the way that is most comfortable for you. If you feel you need to worship from home, please do so with our blessings.
I’ll be taking this coming week off; if you have any pastoral needs please contact the church office.  I’m grateful to The Rev. Eileen Sypher for taking the pulpit next Sunday; we are so blessed to have such willing and able worship leaders in out congregation!
And finally, even as we noted last Sunday, the second day of Christmas, the gift of two turtle doves, there will be no ladies dancing this Sunday.  At least that I am aware of.
