Christmas Fair Friday
A nurse friend of mine posted the following at the beginning of this week: Folks who like to stay healthy or have loved ones who are immunocompromised. Now is the time to mask up. We are seeing really sick folks. Covid Flu RSV And downright nasty virus.
I suppose I can’t really complain, since I only have one of the four, but I take her point, that with the confluence of four different health risks, this might be a good time to resume the precautions we have taken before to keep each other well. Covid 19 will keep me from worship this weekend, I’m sorry to say, and I’m even sorrier to have to miss the Christmas Fair and see all the faces we have been missing over the past year. Sunday’s service will include a Carol Sing, where the congregation will have the opportunity to sing whatever Advent or Christmas hymns you like. Still, because we know my nurse friend’s list of viruses are all airborne, we ask that, if you attend on Sunday, to be sure to wear a mask. (And if you forget, we will have them available in the narthex.) I’ll be singing with you online, and hoping to be back in the pulpit next Sunday. Here are the links to the bulletin and service.
